ACATALEPSY (2017 - )
Acatalepsy is a webcomic project I am working on. It follows the Dvalinn, an entity who has access to and manages the dreams of many, and Kai who stumbles upon his world. The story comprises of many short stories depicting the character's lives reconstructed in their dreams.
Dvalinn early concept design [23/12/2017]
My initial intention for Dvalinn was for him to have androgynous characteristics, with long hair and fairly feminine structures. I also wanted to give him a mysterious and posh vibe, so I settled with formal clothing.
Kai (name subject to change) early concept design [19/3/2018]
I actually didn't plan to include her when I first started planing for this story, but I wanted to explore the relationship between the characteristics with contrasting personality traits. She would also serve to be the reader's eyes during this journey, making it easier to follow the introduction to this different world. My thought for her was a tomboyish girl with born with an inquiring and curious personality. She would wear 90s vintage clothing.
Finalised (?) designs for Kai and Dvalinn [9/6/2018]
Here I decided to change Dvalinn's facial features, making him a little less feminine looking. I also decided on Kai's overall colour schemes and hairstyle as well as her facial features.
